An on-road 56-mile +/- multi-use bike route. The Green Mountains Loop Bicycle Route (GMLR) - West Alternate is all within Vermont. It leaves the main GMLR at Middlebury, VT and travels in a generally northerly direction back to the start of the main GMLR in Burlington, VT.
