A 4,250-mile cross-country on-road (mostly) multi-use bicycle route. The TransAmerica Bicycle Trail (TAT) travels from Astoria, Oregon to Yorktown, Virginia. Adventure Cycling Association created the remarkable bike route for the 1976 Bicentennial Celebration and it continues to be one of the most popular coast-to-coast bike routes ever developed.
